Vicki Lueb of Pastel Society of Mississippi will lead a workshop on painting beyond your reference photo. Students will be guided through the composition process, learning new techniques for grabbing a viewer’s attention and elevating a reference into a more engaging and expressive piece.
Vicki Lueb is also a member of the Degas Pastel Society and the Southeastern Pastel Society. She holds signature status in the Pastel Society of America. Vicki hails from the Gulf Coast and is the vice president of the Pass Christian Art Association. She has won numerous awards, most recently the Pastel Society’s Board of Officers Award in the Pastel Society of Mississippi’s 2026 online juried show, Southern Showcase.
